“Distance Per Stroke” is the most frequently used term in swimming. It describes a person’s stroke efficiency as it is literally a measure of the distance a body travels through the water for each arm stroke taken. At Distance Per Stroke we like to use the term more liberally so that it simply refers to very efficient training. While conservation of motion is so important in so many training situations, so is the conservation of your time. Our goal at Distance Per Stroke is to OPTIMIZE THE TIME YOU SPEND TRAINING. We want training to be One of the many things in your very rich life, NOT the only thing in your life! We believe in balance.

I am a Double Gold Medalist and World Record holder from the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, Korea and provide the finest swimming instruction available.
